The in-lite EVO DOWN 230V is designed for façade lighting, such as beside an entrance or garage door. This version is mounted vertically and projects a warm downward beam. Using the in-lite WALL MOUNT, it can be neatly attached to a wall junction box.

Unlike the 12V version, the 230V model cannot be connected to the in-lite 12V system. However, both versions can be combined within one lighting design to create a consistent and stylish outdoor look.

Please note: the SMART EVO FLEX is only compatible with the SMART HUB 150 and cannot be used with other transformers.

Mounting the in-lite EVO LED strips

To install the EVO FLEX LED strips securely, you can use specially designed mounting profiles. These are available in two versions:

• Single profiles
  The EVO FLEX PROFILE SINGLE and PROFILE 3 are designed solely to hold the LED strip in place.
• Double profiles
  The EVO FLEX PROFILE and PROFILE 4 not only secure the LED strip but also conceal the ground cable neatly and provide space to mount the driver. This version is particularly useful when installing multiple LED strips in a continuous line.

For sharp corners, the CORNER INSIDE and OUTSIDE connectors are available. If you need to create a gentle curve, you can use in-lite FLEX CLIPS. By combining profiles and corner connectors, you can create a clean and professional lighting setup that follows the exact lines of your design.

If you prefer to install the LED strip directly into soft ground along a border or lawn edge, the FLEX SPIKE allows for quick and secure placement in virtually any shape.

Cutting the EVO LED strips in the correct size

The EVO LED strips can easily be cut to size at the indicated cutting marks. This allows you to tailor the strip precisely to your installation requirements. It is not possible to connect multiple LED strips directly to each other. Each strip must be individually connected to the Easy-Lock system using the supplied driver.

Please note: For optimal performance, always use a 10/2 cable with a maximum length of 40 metres when connecting in-lite LED strips. This ensures a stable power supply and long-lasting performance.

Planning your cable layout in advance ensures a neat and efficient installation. If you need to branch the cable in different directions, use the CC-2 cable connector for a reliable split connection.

Choosing the right cable:

• 14/2 cable
  Suitable for distances up to 40 metres between the transformer and the furthest fixture.
  
• 10/2 cable
  Recommended for distances up to 80 metres.

Step 3: Connecting the lights

Using the Easy-Lock connector, you can easily connect EVO fixtures to the ground cable. Simply place the Easy-Lock on the cable and insert the fixture's connector.

For EVO FLEX LED strips, the process differs slightly. First connect the LED strip to the driver. The driver is then connected to the Easy-Lock system.
