in-lite CUBID
in-lite CUBID: compact and stylish
Practical and stylish garden lighting is essential for a well-designed garden, which is why the in-lite CUBID is such a popular choice. This modern wall light is available in two sizes, allowing you to select the right version for your specific needs.
For low walls, ponds and steps, the in-lite CUBID is ideal, offering a light range of approximately 1 metre. If you require a wider beam for fences, façades or pergolas, choose the in-lite BIG CUBID, which provides a light range of up to 3 metres.
Both the standard CUBID and BIG CUBID are available in elegant finishes, including Dark, Rose Silver and White, ensuring a perfect match with any outdoor setting.
What do you need to install the in-lite CUBID?
Installing CUBID wall lights is quick, easy and safe thanks to the Plug & Play system from in-lite. If you already have an in-lite system, simply connect the Easy-Lock to your existing in-lite ground cable. New to in-lite garden lighting? You will need an in-lite transformer and in-lite ground cable to complete your installation.
Below is a clear step-by-step overview:
1. Choose the right transformer
The transformer is the core of the in-lite system. It converts 230V mains power into a safe 12V supply for your garden lighting. The transformer distributes power to all connected fixtures via the low-voltage cable.
There are three different in-lite transformers available. The right choice depends on the total wattage of all connected lights. Always ensure the transformer capacity matches the requirements of your complete setup.
2. Plan and install the wiring
Once the transformer is installed, you will need a 12V in-lite ground cable to supply power to your CUBID wall lights. Installation is very straightforward, especially when you prepare a clear design in advance.
Planning your cable route alongside your lighting plan helps keep the installation neat and efficient. Need to branch off from the main cable? Use a CC-2 cable connector to create a reliable split connection.
3. Connecting the CUBID wall lights
The CUBID wall lights are connected to the ground cable using the included Easy-Lock connector. Follow these simple steps:
- Position the Easy-Lock connector on the ground cable.
- Insert the CUBID connector into the Easy-Lock.
- Secure the connection to ensure stable power supply.
Each CUBID fixture comes with approximately 60 cm of cable. If you plan to mount the light higher on a wall, we recommend using an extension cable. Extensions are available in 1, 2 and 3 metre lengths. This keeps your installation clean and avoids running the main ground cable up the wall.
