in-lite NAIL
The NAIL works perfectly as orientation lighting along a path or driveway. Its downward beam marks the route clearly without glare, keeping your outdoor space both safe and inviting. You can also place the lamps along a border to highlight plants and flowers, or around a terrace to create a relaxed evening atmosphere. The result is a warm, even light that feels natural and comfortable. It’s practical by design, but with just the right amount of atmosphere.
The available models
The in-lite NAIL range includes two versions:
-
NAIL (610 mm)
This is the standard model, a reliable choice for most gardens and paths. Its longer ground pin gives a firm hold in lawns, gravel paths and deeper borders. Use several together to mark a path, create soft lines of light, or add discreet garden path lighting along the driveway. View the in-lite NAIL here.
-
NAIL LOW (455 mm)
The shorter version is designed for shallow surfaces such as planters, raised beds or pots. It’s ideal when the soil layer is limited, on a balcony or roof terrace for example. The NAIL LOW brings the same warm look and feel to compact spaces. View the in-lite NAIL LOW here.
Installing the in-lite NAIL
Like all in-lite outdoor lights, the NAIL lamps are quick and safe to install on the in-lite 12V low-voltage system. Installation takes just three simple steps:
1. Place the light: Push the NAIL into the ground at your chosen spot.
2. Lay the cable: Roll out the 12V main cable along the line where you want your lights to go.
3. Connect: Attach the NAIL cable to the main cable using the supplied Easy-Lock connector. This waterproof connector clicks into place securely, no other tools needed.
The result is a clean, safe and flexible setup that you can easily expand later.
The in-lite system: safe, simple and modular
All lights in the in-lite NAIL range run on the in-lite 12V low-voltage system. This system is designed so that anyone can install it safely, without the need for an electrician. It’s reliable, energy-efficient and easy to expand.
The system consists of three main parts:
-
The transformer converts 230 volts from your socket into a safe 12-volt current. The transformer has a built-in light sensor and timer, so your garden lighting switches on and off automatically.
-
12V in-lite ground cable
The main cable runs through your garden and is completely safe to touch, even when powered. You can lay it under grass, gravel or a thin layer of soil.
-
Fixtures
The lamps themselves (such as the in-lite NAIL) connect to the cable with the Easy-Lock system. This makes it simple to add, move or remove lights whenever you need.
Gardenlightsstore.com experts recommend planning your cable route in advance and leaving a little extra length for future lighting additions.
